Winter Toolkit: How We Keep You Nice & Cozy

If there’s one thing we don’t want you to have a memory of about your service with us, it’s that you were chilly your entire service. Our primary goal is to create a relaxing and therapeutic environment and a key component of this is managing the temperature and comfort of our guests throughout their services with us. At Bodyworks of Perdido Key we have many effective strategies to ensure every guest stays warm and cozy, enhancing their overall spa experience.

Room Temperature:

Keeping the treatment rooms at a comfortable warm temperature during the cooler months is our first step towards keeping the chill out of the air.

Quality Table Warmers:

We use table warmers on each treatment table. These warmers have adjustable heat settings which provide gentle, consistent warmth throughout your service. Please communicate with your service provider to increase or decrease the table heat to your desired temperature that feels good to you.

Soft, Cozy Throw Blankets:

Does it get any better than a luxuriously plush chelour throw blanket? We use spa quality peachy soft linens with the added layer of a lightweight but warm chelour blanket.

Oil Warmers:

Used to make our guests more comfortable and cozier by warming their favorite massage oil, lotion, or gel. Cold oil can be quite a shock to the system and can detract from the relaxation experience.

Warm Towels and Hydrocollator Moist Heat Packs:

Incorporating warm towels and/or moist heat packs can be both therapeutic and warming. Our massage services include warm towels on the back and feet for added comfort.

The warmth of a facial towel can relax the facial muscles, increase circulation, open the pores and soften the skin. Plus, it just feels great.

Using a warm towel, particularly in times of stress or after a long day can aid in relaxing your nervous system and reducing any tension felt.

Hydrocollator Moist Heat Packs are a combination of bentonite clay and other natural fillings. These clay packs applied externally are used to soothe a variety of conditions such as:

  • Alleviate inflammatory pain

  • Alleviate joint pain

  • Treat arthritis

  • Congestion

  • Heal bruised tissue and strains

  • Treat muscle spasms

  • Relieve chronic pain

  • Increase blood flow

And last but not least, Communication:

Communication is key. Your feedback will guide your service provider to adjust accordingly to ensure your comfort level regarding the temperature. Each person's temperature preference is different and some guests may feel colder or warmer than others. Everything can be adjusted according to your preference, ensuring you're neither too hot nor too cold.

Keeping our guests warm on the massage and facial table is a vital part of the service experience. It’s about more than just physical warmth; it’s about us creating a nurturing, comforting space where our guests feel cared for in every aspect. We encourage our guests to share their likes and dislikes with us to better enable us to continue making truly memorable experiences.

What Sets Us Apart?

The little things. The small details.

We understand they often make the biggest difference and can significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

We pride ourselves in professional personalized care, anticipating our guest needs, and attentive service to make our guests feel valued and heard.
