Hair Removal Prep & Aftercare

​Preparing for your visit

EXFOLIATION:
We recommend that you exfoliate the area several days prior to your appointment. Thoroughly clean the area keeping the skin moist, but not greasy from heavy lotions or oils.

LET THAT HAIR GROW:
We recommend that you have at least a ¼” of hair for a wax (or about 3 weeks from your last shave/wax). It’s important that the hair is long enough, and if it’s not, we’ll ask you to reschedule. 

SUN EXPOSURE:
In order to ensure the most comfortable wax experience, we recommend that you avoid sun exposure for 48 hours before and after your wax.

AFTER 
Aftercare is pretty easy. Avoid intense sun exposure for two days, and give your skin some love.

We recommend Finipil, an antiseptic cream that soothes your skin while protecting the empty hair follicle. The uses of Finipil start with helping relieve acne, razor burn, and ingrown hairs. Use this cream after waxing and shaving.
